1. Soak the bellflower roots in water over night. In the morning change the water and keep soaking and draining over a period of hours until the bitterness is removed.
2. Combine the following ingredients:
- 5 cups of bellflower root
- 1 tablespoon of perilla oil
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil.
- 4 tablespoons of gochujang
- a little water
- 1 carrot sliced into thin strips
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2 nobs of ginger
- 2 tablespoons of soybean paste
